The AlkapodTM is a portable alkaline dispenser, that can converts regular tap or well water into alkaline ionized water that anyone can drink anywhere, anytime. Many common wellness issues which are created by an acid/alkaline imbalance can be helped by regular consumption of alkaline, ionized and mineralized water.

The AlkaPod uses 13 types of minerals in its filter including Tourmaline, Zeolite, Maifanshi stone, far-infrared stone, muyu jade, clay, tourmaline, nano silver powder, kaolin earth, rare earth etc. These have been scientifically combined to give the optimal effect to the source water. What is in the AlkaPod?
Tourmaline stone, which introduces a natural form of FIR, helps reduce surface tension and imparts a slight ionization effect
Zeolites are a rare group of minerals with a four-sided honeycomb structure and a natural, negative magnetic charge. Zeolite can absorb and retain heavy metals and toxins. These can then pass safely out of the body without re-absorption
Maifanshi comes from valley streams rich in porphyritic pea gravel. Traditionally, Maifanshi has been used as a general health medicine in Asia and also for bathing, due to its ability to absorb toxins and supply many trace minerals. In the AlkaPod, Maifanshi helps to clean, remineralize and ionize the water.

AlkaPod Portable Water Ionizer - Control Tests
Test 1 - pH Testing
Alkaline water can help to counteract the acidic wastes in the body, improving the pH balance and overall wellness.
1. Take two clear glasses. Pour regular drinking water from the tap or a bottle into the left container.
2. Pour water from your AlkaPod into the right container.
3. Add 3 drops of pH reagent into both containers.
4. Yellow color shows acidity or green shows neutral. The blue or purple color shows a strong alkaline pH.

Test 2 - Dissolved Oil Test
Shows how well fatty substances dissolve or emulsify in the treated water from your AlkaPod.
1. Pour the same amount of any type of edible oil into two clear gasses.
2. Pour regular drinking water into the left container.
3. Pour water from the AlkaPod into the right container.
4. In the left container the oil and water are separated. In the right container the oil is emulsified.

Test 3 - Neutralization of alcohol acidity
1. Pour some water from your AlkaPod into a container and add 3 drops of pH reagent.
2. Pour a small amount of distilled spirit into the container and see how it instantly becomes very acidic.
3. Pour some more energy water from your AlkaPod into the container and see how the acid fluid is counteracted and a good pH restored.

Test 4 - Neutralization of acidity caused by cigarette smoke
1. Simulate a healthy fluid by pouring some water from your AlkaPod into a glass container then adding a few drops of pH reagent.
2. Have a smoker blow smoke into the container then swirl around so that the smoke is absorbed into the water. Notice how the pH of the water is changed into a toxic acid.
3. Pour some more water from your AlkaPod into the container and see how the pH changes back to alkaline.

Test 5 - Neutralizing Acidity from Glucose (sugar) Test
1. Pour some water from your AlkaPod into a glass container and add 3 drops of pH reagent.
2. Pour some glucose into the container and see how the water becomes very acidic.
3. Pour more water from your AlkaPod into the container until it converts back to alkaline state.

Test 6 - Testing Instruments
ORP Meter - is used to test the Oxygen Reduction Potential. If this value is negative then water has an abundance of free electrons and can help as an antioxidant to neutralize free radical damage.
TDS Meter - is used to test the dissolved mineral content in the water.
Conductivity Meter - is used to test the water’s conductive properties..

1. A : Tap water B: Pure water C: Alkaline, ionized water.
2. Typical ORP test: A value +251 B value +148 C value -138.
3. A TDS test: will show an improvement in the amount of essential alkalizing minerals.
4. A conductivity pen test: will show there is a microcircuit in the alkaline ion water.

Why Alkaline Ionized Water?
The Need for an Alkaline Environment - Our bodies function best when they are neither too acid nor too alkaline. Unfortunately most of us have become overly acidic due to poor diet, popular beverages, lack of healthy exercise, environmental contaminants and stress. Acidity or alkalinity is measured by pH, and ranges from 0 (highly acidic) to 14 (highly alkaline); a pH of 7 is neutral. Our blood system is always working to keep itself in the narrow range of pH 7.35 to 7.45. Drinking alkaline water helps the body maintain a healthy pH level. The easiest way to assist your body in becoming more alkaline is to drink alkaline water.

Importance of Water - Water sustains all forms of life. It is one of the most mysterious substances on this planet. Scientists are still discovering amazing facts about water. More than 70% of our body weight is water. You are mainly a re-bundling of water wrapped in skin. Understanding water and drinking the right kind of water will help improve wellness and longevity. Inside the human body the blood (which is over 90% water) circulates throughout the body, distributing nutrients and oxygen, and removing wastes and carbon dioxide. Without water we die, too little and our body does not function properly. Water is the medium through which every metabolic function occurs in the body. If you are even slightly dehydrated at a cellular level, this will impair your cell’s ability to do its job. Proper hydration is crucial to good health, and not all water hydrates equally. The structure of a common water molecule cluster is reduced and reshaped through natural ionization processes allowing water from your AlkaPod to be easily absorbed by the body. Oxidation
Free radicals are unstable atoms which react with healthy cells causing oxidative damage. It’s the same thing that makes an apple turn brown or iron rust. Researchers believe that free radical damage is a contributing factor in nearly every known disease and aging. Antioxidants stop oxidation. Hydride ions (H-) have an extra electron that neutralizes free radicals. Alkaline water is abundant in very small molecules of activated hydrogen which can help to counteract oxidative or free radical damage. It acts as a super pervasive anti-oxidant due to its molecular weight of 18daltons (takes less than 500daltons to cross the blood brain barrier).

Many authorities such as Dr. Robert Young (“pH Miracle” Series), Dr. Ted Baroody (“Alkalize or Die”) and Sang Whang (“Reverse Aging”) all recommend drinking water with an alkaline pH up to 9.5. Your AlkaPod water ranges from pH 7.5 to 9.5.

The Tourmaline in your AlkaPod produces negative ions (measured as ORP) and also reduces the size of the water molecule clusters making them smaller. Structurally smaller molecular clusters are more easily absorbed, helping the body to absorb more water and replenish water lost through dehydration.

AlkaPod User's Manual
1. Fill the bottle with hot water before you first use it in order to activate the nano-particles. Please use hot water with a temperature above 90 F (60 C). Wait until the water cools down, then repeat by adding cold water – shake bottle then empty.
2. When water is poured from your AlkaPod or when the bottle is shaken you may hear a rattling sound. This is simply the minerals and mineral balls moving around and is normal.
3. When putting water into your AlkaPod make sure it is filled to the top. For maximum effect you can wait a few minutes but you will often find great results instantly. In order to extend the filter and bottle usage, please make sure the water temperature remains below 120 F (50 C).
4. Please do not screw the lid on too tight, as energy released can increase the pressure inside the bottle.
5. When not in use, store your AlkaPod in a cool dry place. The removable filter is a replacement part and also needs to be stored separately when not in regular use (it can be stored in the refrigerator).
6. After some time, there may be a mineral or scale build-up on the wall of the bottle which shows as a white film. This is nothing to be concerned about and it can be removed by using a little white vinegar or lemon juice.
7. You may notice small gaps on the side of the top filter through which some water will flow. This will not effect the efficiency of the alkalizer.
8. After initial use, you may experience some detoxification such as mild diarrhea, itchy eyes or throat, a slight rash or drowsiness. These are usually normal detoxification and immune modulation responses and should clear in a few days. If symptoms persist please consult a physician.
9. The filter should be changed at least once every 12 months or when the performance decreases due to the volume of water processed. Replacement filters are very affordable and can be purchased through your distributor.
10. For a stronger water you can secure the lid gently then shake. This is usually not necessary.

AlkaPod Health Considerations
1. In order to maintain the living energy from the internal molecular surfaces do not pour carbonated drinks, milk, coffee, tea or other similar liquids into the AlkaPod. Doing so will reduce the life of your ionizer.
2. Do not keep the water in the bottle overnight, and don't drink this water as it will become too strong.
3. Do not use in a microwave or heat up on a stove. Keep away from fire.
4. To avoid any possible complications do not take medication or prescription drugs with water from your AlkaPod.
5. Those with a weaker constitution are advised in the early stage of use to remove the water from the AlkaPod as soon as possible. Also it may help to mix the AlkaPod water in the beginning with ordinary water to reduce the potency.
6. Patients with weak kidneys, heart issues, liver cirrhosis, allergy or stomach problems should consult with their physician if unsure.
7. Pregnant and lactating women, please consult with your physician. Under normal circumstances, there is no need for infants or young children to use the AlkaPod.
8. If any unusual symptoms arise please stop use and consult with your physician.
