About Bacteria and Other Microscopic Organisms
Some microscopic organisms will be removed by a 5 micron filter, more with a 2 micron filter, and even more with a 1 micron filter. Filtering microscopic organisms works like a sifter. The smaller the number of microns, the more bacteria can be captured in the filter. PureEasy filter systems all contain 1 micron [C-1 Ceramic] filters. There are a few microorganisms that can escape through a 1 micron filter though, and for anyone with untreated [or insufficiently treated] water, if you want to make sure that you remove all of the bacteria, algae, yeast, mould, cryptospordium, Giardia and cysts, then you should select a .01 micron bacteria filter to put in the #2 or #3 filter ports. Refer to the following charts for sizes of microorganisms.
Outstanding, Patented, Dual-Ceramic Filters!
The PureEasy Filter Systems use an extraordinary design and dual-ceramic casing. The PureEasy countertop .01 filter removes rust, sediment, chlorine, heavy metals, organic pollutants, chemicals, disinfection byproducts, unpleasant taste and odors and 99.9999% of bacteria and viruses! They clarify the water to beautiful, pure-looking and tasting levels.
The outer layer of the dual-ceramic catches all of the impurities in the water down to .5 microns, and won't let it enter the filter. If the filter slows down over time, then the sediment collected on the ceramic filter can be lightly scrubbed off, allowing you to extend the life of the filter by at least twice that of a plastic-cased or fiber-cased filter of its kind.
The patented dual-ceramic is made of environmental-friendly 100% natural ceramic and compared to other ceramic filters will filter sediment, suspended particles and biological matter even better than commercial ceramic filters.
Each PureEasy countertop water system can be used as a stand-alone water filter.
Each PureEasy countertop water system comes with its own faucet diverter and spout and is easy to install. The PureEasy Water Filter System is outstanding in its ability to purify your water without removing the valuable dietary calcium and other healthy minerals! PureEasy C-1 Ceramic filters are absolutely the best at removing sediment and rust [saving the life of your water ionizer's filter] as well as being outstanding at chemical and heavy metal removal! PureEasy filter systems are completely BPA free and made with food-grade AS and ABS plastics.
...Or, the PureEasy filter system is the perfect water ionizer prefilter!
Both ends of the PureEasy filter system can be easily interchanged with a 1/4" quick-connect fitting, see video, below, about how to do this. [Note: Converting the system yourself is very easy to do.]
PureEasy Filter Systems are Long Lasting!
The filter media is designed to last an average family over a year! The ceramic is designed to last even longer! You can clean the ceramic to renew it if at any time the filter's flow-rate slows down.
Each PureEasy countertop water system can be used as a stand-alone water filter and is easy to install.
You can install it under the sink [look for a video ...coming soon] or on the counter. It can be used independently or as a prefilter to your water ionizer.
Installation is easy, however you do need to read the instructions. For instance in this diagram it shows you that you should unscrew all of the filter housings and remove the filters before setting the system up. The reason is that the filters come wrapped in plastic for sanitation purposes. You'll need to remove the plastic then securely screw the filters into their spots.
PureEasy filter systems are completely BPA free and made with food-grade AS and ABS plastics.
The PureEasy, easy-change, replacement filters last about 2 thousand gallons each and are a very reasonably priced.
Instructions for Converting the PureEasy Counter-Top Filter System to an Undersink System
- Remove the product from the box.
- Carefully remove the pieces from the base: spout, housings and the wrapped filters from inside the housings and set all in a safe place.
- Leave the hose intact and just disconnect it from the faucet diverter. Save the diverter.
- Unscrew the spout fitting from the base and set it aside.
- Using plumber’s tape, wrap the tape around the threads of one of the fittings about 6 times around. Smooth out any rough edges. Screw the fitting into the base [where the spout fitting was removed].
- Push the loose hosing into the quick-connect fitting that you just screw into the base.
- You are now ready to hook the two ends of hosing into the filter faucet and Tee which you will need to purchase separately [locally].
Other Items You Will Need
- You will need a filter faucet to dispense the filtered water above the sink. [Note: We don't sell this item.]
- You will need a Tee to insert your ¼ inch hosing into the cold water line [between your cold water shut off and your faucet feed line.] Here's a link to our Tee, which we have found to be the best and easiest one to use.
