The High Capacity External Arsenic, Lead and Fluoride filter can run independently or prior to your water ionizer. It should be changed every year or two, depending on your water quality. [No more than 5000 gallons.]
The main ingredient is Activated Alumina.
Activated alumina is a highly porous, adsorbent food grade material primarily used to remove fluoride, arsenic, selenium and other contaminants like sulfur, phosphate, and heavy metals (copper, zinc, lead).
Fluoride: It is widely recognized for reducing high fluoride levels to under 0.1 ppm.
Arsenic: Effectively removes both Arsenic (III) and Arsenic (V).
Heavy Metals & Minerals: Reduces concentrations of selenium, copper, zinc, and lead.
Other: Removes phosphates, silica, and degradation acids from industrial oils.
You will need to purchase an external filter housing to use this filter if you don't already have one.
