The fluoride-removal-filter for H2-Series water ionizers will remove more fluoride from your water than with just the ionizer itself or the UltraWater filter. This filter goes on the right side of your H2 Series ionizer. It's rated for 500 gallons or 6 months (whichever comes first). AlkaViva doesn't encourage you to stock up on filters, because the older the filter gets the more likely it will expire and cease to work properly.
Note: The AlkaViva water experts state that the Fluoride Shield filter is not for sediment and a separate sediment filter may be required to prevent clogging of the very fine Ultrawater filters.
If you have a water sediment problem I suggest you use the ceramic pre-filter which does a marvelous job of removing sediment. This is the best way to protect your filters.
