Microplastics and Nanoplastics (MPNs) How and Why to Filter Your Water Wisely

Microplastics and Nanoplastics (MNPs)
Microplastics have been found in our bloodstream, brain, lungs, liver, heart, kidneys, bowels, urinary tract, joints, and even testicles. These are tiny, microscopic fragments of plastic, and they are showing up everywhere.
Listen to my podcast about this while reading this article.
I just mentioned "testicles" because male reproductive organs are in grave danger from these plastic nanoparticles (too small to see with the naked eye). Animal studies have shown that exposure to microplastics can impact sperm quality and male fertility. So, in essence, our progeny is at stake here.
"Microplastics are virtually everywhere. You can live in a remote area, with your own water well - away from civilization. But because even with water from a well, you get it from underground aquifers. You just can't get away from the damage we've been causing our planet and the junk that's getting into our water, especially in the last hundred years.
The most widely used plastic is PE (polyethylene), a synthetic material. It's in bottles, packaging, bags, and so on. It takes very long to break down, and so it's filling our landfills and waterways. Plus, studies are now showing up that this ordinary plastic can fragment into micro and nano plastics (MNPs) over time.
These MPNs, microplastics, have suspected links to things like inflammation, respiratory disorders, kidney disease, cancer, brain disorders, and Parkinson's disease - just to name a few.
Here Are Some Things You Can Do:
- Filter your drinking water - preferably use UltraWater Filtration
- Stay away from plastic bottles or other plastics as much as you can
- Store food in glass rather than plastic
- Rince the food you get in plastic
Why UltraWater Filters?
Ultrawater Lab Tests show that when the influent water was packed with 270 ppm of plastics, the water from that water ionizer had zero ppm (non-detectible).
Boost Your Immune System
A strong immune system is likely to help you better handle the potential adverse effects of microplastics.
This is why I highly and frequently suggest you switch to ionized water or hydrogen water using UltraWater filtration.
I should note that our bodies are all different. This includes diet and living or working conditions. So, no one can tell you an absolute when it comes to the body. This is why I always encourage people to learn more about your water and anything you consume. Do some research, and try ionized water or hydrogen water using UltraWater filtration and see how it works for you.
