The Value of Exercise & Alkalizing Your Body

Drinking hydrogen-rich, ionized water helps me and can help you with your daily exercise and fitness routine. It gives me more energy and helps me get better workouts.

1. Exercise Helps to Alkalize Your Body

When you exercise you increase your breathing rate and circulation, and this helps to alkalize your body. Deep breathing alkalizes your body by way of removing more CO2 [carbon dioxide] than regular breathing. CO2 is very acidic, and so removing more of it has an alkalizing effect. By increasing the rate and depth of breathing you also bring more oxygen to your cells by way of increased circulation. After all you’re moving your body parts around, which will force the circulation to increase. Increased circulation also helps to remove more toxins from the cells, which are acidic, so they can be eliminated [making your body more alkaline]. Make sure to drink extra alkaline ionized water before and after exercise, though, because you will need the antioxidants to fight free-radicals and alkaline buffers to help eliminate the toxins. Also, during exercise, if you exercise longer than a half-hour, you should take a short break to drink about 8-12 oz of alkaline ionized water.

2. Exercise Helps You to Keep Your Body Healthy

Have you ever seen people who have had years of a sedentary life-style, void of exercise, just appear to dwindle before your eyes? The reason for this is simple. Our bodies aren’t made for sedentary living. Genetically we have bodies that are meant to be active all the way up to your last breathing day. Studies Relating Exercise to Increased HDL [Good] Cholesterol have shown that exercise helps to increase your HDL [good cholesterol]. That’s healthy for your heart and blood pressure.

It is also a proven fact that when you get up and exercise [walk, run or other weight-bearing exercise] it helps to reduce your chances of osteoporosis, and can even reverse it.

Exercise also helps with things like obesity, back pain, other joint pains, energy, and blood-sugar regulation. The list of health benefits goes on and on.

3. Exercise Helps You to Eliminate Wastes Properly

It’s extremely important to be able to eliminate wastes from both cell metabolism and food [digestion] effectively, otherwise these things [which are poisons to our bodies] tend to get stuck there with no way out. This leads to disease. The extra circulation, sweating, and burning of calories all do their part to help us safely eliminate wastes. Also, the ability to eat a few extra calories [due to increased activity] helps you to consume sufficient bulk, which is needed for the bowels to move regularly.

4. Exercise Helps You to Feel Younger, Act Younger, and Look Younger

Contrary to what you might think, exercise GIVES you much more energy than it takes to do. I know it might be hard to believe that, or hard to get up and get started, but read on to see my tips, which I think will help you. It’s very worth it. Let’s say you’re 60 and you haven’t exercised very much for the past decade, uh-oh. You’re headed for a whole rash of joint-aches, muscle atrophy, lethargy, weight gain and diseases. Why? Because your body will start to shut down. You can and should turn it around today. It is never too late. Really. But start doing something now. Don’t put it off, because it won’t turn around as fast or as easy the longer you put it off. It’s harder to grow older if you are not active than if you are. By being active is not meant: standing rather than sitting; working at a computer all day and night; etc. I am referring to physical exercise …movement of muscles; moving the body; working up a sweat; and doing this for about 30 minutes to 2 hours daily.

Many health professionals claim that exercise is the fountain of youth. I believe it’s part of that for sure…a very important part.

5. Exercise Helps You to Keep Your Body’s Weight at a Good Level

For many reasons as we get older our metabolisms slow down. A slowed metabolism sets you up for all kinds of problems: weight gain, bowel elimination problems [constipation]; lack of energy; and the list goes on. Following the tips I’m about to give you, you can turn that around. Exercise can allow you to eat a bit more, while still not gaining weight. This is good for your bowels, and they will move better.

6. Exercise Helps You Get More Fun Out of Life

When you have more energy you can do more. This equates to getting more fun out of life. Let’s face it, it may seem like fun to sit and watch TV, but compared to getting out. moving around and living life with aliveness, it really isn’t even comparable. Try it and you will see.

How Much Exercise is Enough?

A good workout should take anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour. It partially depends on how much time you have and what you’re doing [running, walking, riding, exercise ropes,…]. If you work up to it on a gradient, you can probably do a lot more than you think.

What Are the Barriers to Exercise and How Can Anyone, Even You, Overcome Them?

Time

Just make the time. Exercise is a necessary additional requirement to living healthy.

Pain or Discomfort

You might, or probably will, experience some pain, discomfort or stiffness when you do daily work-outs, however eventually your body builds up to it and then it will take a harder work-out to produce that level of discomfort again. But the thing to focus on, especially when you’re starting out, is that it’s absolutely a necessary piece of that “fountain of youth”…so just do it. It gets better and easier every day when you keep it up. If it gets too much, then just back off a little.

Nutrition

One thing you should know when you do daily work-outs, is that your nutritional needs may go up. I’m referring to vitamins, minerals, alkaline ionized water, and good, healthy foods. For instance when you sweat, you lose sodium, potassium, and other minerals, so check out some good supplements …paying attention to giving your body the nutrients it needs.

The Health & Benefits of Drinking Ionized Water During Exercise

There are many benefits of drinking ionized water related to exercise.

  1. The good hydration and oxygenation that ionized water gives you helps your body to have more energy during your workout.
  2. During exercise your body's circulation increases. This is a perfect time to alkalize your body. Doing this will provide the alkaline buffers to your body that it needs to safely remove toxins [acidic wastes] from your cells.
  3. Alkaline ionized water is rich in bio-available [negatively-charged] alkaline minerals, such as calcium, magnesium, and potassium, that your muscles need to do their work.

The very best thing I have ever purchased is a WATER IONIZER, and I've been in perfect health ever since I started drinking ionized water 25 years ago! Understanding and knowing how to control and manage my own body's pH and antioxidant levels at the cellular level has made all the difference in the world in my life, my family's lives and in a countless number of my friends and associates over the years.
