What's in the AlkaStream Filter?

Stage 1 - Ceramic Filter Membrane stops all sediment and bacteria over 0.2 micron in size, including e.coli and giardia.
Stage 2- Ion Exchange Media (NSF approved) reduces hard water and neutralizes fluoride.
Stage 3- Activated Carbon reduces organic contaminants, improves color, odor, taste, removes pesticides, trihalomethanes, chlorine and volatile organic compounds.
Stage 4- KDF and Magnesium in an activated carbon media removes heavy metals such as lead and mercury and creates free hydrogen.
Stage 5- Energizing Media creates antioxidants and reduces the size of the water molecule cluster, thereby increasing hydration.
Stage 6- Trace Minerals and Far Infrared Ceramics add more than 70 beneficial trace elements.
Stage 7- Activated Carbon and KDF improve final taste and remove unwanted trace minerals.
Stage 8- Neodymium Magnetic Field stabilizes the negative electrical charge and small molecular cluster size.


Regular maintenance:

* Customers will need to buff off the bottom ceramic portion of the filter 1x per month to prevent any scaling.
* Use the pH drops to do a quick and simple test to track performance over time.

Filters are good for 1-yr or 5000L, whichever comes first.

The Alkastream comes with a 1-year warranty and falls under "Other Products" for our Alkaline Water Plus satisfaction guarantee [i.e., It can be returned if unused for a refund of all, but the shipping expenses]. Once it's been used [water poured through it] it falls under the 1-year warranty. However, if there are concerns with its performance it will be repaired or replaced via the US repair depot.]
