Tyent MMP11 vs Enagic Water Ionizers

Tyent’s New MMP11 Water Ionizer is About Equal to the Enagic

The new Tyent 11-plate water ionizer performs about the same as the Tyent 9090 water ionizer. In this particular test I’m comparing it with the Enagic SD-501 water ionizer [both pouring at a fast flow-rate]. Both water ionizers are performing about equally.

How do the Enagic and Tyent MMP11 Water Ionizers Compare?

The Tyent MMP11 and Enagic SD501 are both fast flow-rate water ionizers. What I mean by that is they are powerful, use lots of watts, and because of that they “want” to flow fast. A fast flow-rate is sometimes desirable, but when the water flow speeds up the quality of filtration and ORP goes down.

The Tyent uses variable watts, from 5 up to 750 depending on the level you set it at and the flow-rate you use. You can also program it yourself to be more or less powerful, according to your water source and needs. The plate-cooling method for both water ionizers is by way of flowing cool water over the plates. If you flow the water slower, then the plates may not get cooled enough. To use the full 750 watts of power, one would need to use a fast flow rate in order to cool the plates properly. However, speeding up the flow-rate reduces the efficiency, the ORP and the quality of filtration.

The Enagic SD-501 uses 235 watts of power. The variability is preset into the levels, and cannot be programmed by the customer. If you don’t use a fast enough flow-rate with the Enagic it will shut off ionization and give you a voice-warning.

The Enagic water ionizer uses a saline solution at its highest setting. This boosts ionization for the strong alkaline and acidic [cleaning] levels of ionized water. There is a danger of using this highest setting too much, partially because of this solution. First of all, one would not drink this highest level of pH or use it on your skin or plants. Secondly, the high sodium levels left in the ionizing chamber [or over-use of those levels] can corrode the platinum right off of the plates. Here is a picture, posted on the Enagic website, showing their warning about this.

Who Would Need Such Power in a Water Ionizer?

Honestly most people do not need the high-power of either of the above water ionizers. The main advantage with any high-powered water ionizer [i.e., Tyent, Enagic, Vesta…] is that it will give you a fast flow-rate. A fast flow-rate is not going to give you the best filtration or ORP, though.

The very best thing I have ever purchased is a WATER IONIZER, and I've been in perfect health ever since I started drinking ionized water 25 years ago! Understanding and knowing how to control and manage my own body's pH and antioxidant levels at the cellular level has made all the difference in the world in my life, my family's lives and in a countless number of my friends and associates over the years.
